Summary of money-back guarantee conditions: If you follow my recommendations, and your student
learns and applies the course material and fails to show any improvement in the problem course(s) after a
year, I will refund your program fee, minus the processing fee ($10 for the self-paced course, and $100 for
the 6 week course). (See the details of the conditions, below.) In other words, I don't earn my full fee unless
you see results. (Obviously, I want to earn my full fee, so I will work hard to help ensure that you do get
results.)
As a classroom teacher and lifelong learner myself I deeply believe that there are only a few reasons a
student could go through this program and not improve his or her performance:
1. They failed to learn the skills and gain the understanding I tried to teach them
2. They failed to apply the skills and understanding in school
3. There are impediments to learning which are hindering the student from doing his or her best
This is why I have set the conditions to the guarantees as I have (see below for details).
Guarantee for the Self-paced course:
Summary of conditions: If you follow my recommendations, and your student learns and applies the course
material and fails to show any improvement in the problem course(s) after a year, I will refund your
program tuition, minus the ($10) processing fee. (See the details of the conditions, below.)
Conditions to the guarantees for both courses:
1. The student must score 100% on the School Success 101 course assessment, proving that he/she has
successfully acquired the School Success 101 course skills and knowledge. The student can take the
assessment as many times as is required to score 100%, but should do so without notes.
2. The parent must send me a signed statement (the affirmation) that the parent observed the student
diligently applying the School Success 101 course skills and knowledge at home during the next full year
(beginning with the first day of the course phase), and that the parent aided the student according to my
recommendations.
3. At least one teacher of a course the student struggles with most must sign a statement (sent to me by the
parent) that the teacher observed the student diligently applying the School Success 101 course skills and
knowledge during at least one full 9 month period of the same year as that covered by the parent's
observation referred to in condition # 2.
Guarantee for the six week course:
Both courses have two phases: the course phase and the application phase. The course phase for both
courses is over after the student scores 100% on the end-of-course assessment. The application phase begins
at that point and runs until a year has elapsed.
If the parent cancels the enrollment after the evaluation for the lesson 1 work (quiz and activity) is sent by
the tutor, and before the evaluation for the lesson 2 work is sent, the parent will receive 100% of the full
program fee ($200) back. (This means that lesson 1 would be free of charge--a risk-free, no-cost trial of our
services.)
If a cancellation occurs during the six week course after lesson 1 work is evaluated and before lesson 6 work
is evaluated, the first $100 of the program fee will be refunded on a prorated basis, and 100% of the second
$100 will be refunded. The portion that is not refunded is the processing fee. Either the parent or the tutor
may cancel at any time, for any reason, during the course phase. Students must turn in work on time each
week, by the end of the week (each week begins on Monday at 12:01am and ends on Sunday at midnight).
The tutor reserves the right to cancel an enrollment if a student is continually late with work. Notices of
tardy work will be sent to the parent's email address.
Once all work for all 6 lessons has been evaluated and sent by the tutor, no cancellations may occur. The
course phase of the program has been completed. From that point until the end of the year period (which
begins the first day of the course), only the second $100 of the program fee is the subject of the money-back
guarantee. The second $100 of the program fee will be refunded in-full if, after a year of applying the skills
in the problem course(s) (see above 3 conditions), the student fails to make any improvement.
